Indonesian Idol is a reality television singing competition created by Simon Fuller and produced by FremantleMedia Asia, which began airing on RCTI on March 2004 and became one of the most popular shows in the history of Indonesian elevision. Part of the Idol franchise, it was as a spin-off from the UK show Pop Idol.
The concept of the series is to find new solo recording artists where the winner is determined by the viewers. Through telephone and SMS text voting, viewers have chosen as winners Joy Tobing, Mike Mohede, Ihsan Tarore, Rini Wulandari , Aris Runtuwene, and Igo Pentury (listed in chronological order). Other alumni from the program include Delon Thamrin, Helena Andrian, Winda Viska Ria, Nania Yusuf, Judika Sihotang, Monita Tahalea, Dearly Sompie, Gea Dahliana, Fandy Santoso, Sarah Hadju, Gaby Christy, Gisella Anastasya, Tiffany Orie, Citra Scholastika, and Fendy Buccu (listed in chronological order).

Madonna (born Madonna Louise Ciccone (/tʃɪˈkoʊneɪ/ chi-koh-nay); August 16, 1958) is an American singer, songwriter, actress and entrepreneur. Madonna has sold more than 300 million records worldwide and is recognized as the world’s top-selling female recording artist of all time by the Guinness World Records. Considered to be one of the “25 Most Powerful Women of the Past Century” by Time for being an influential figure in contemporary music, Madonna is known for continuously reinventing both her music and image, and for retaining a standard of autonomy within the recording industry. Critics have praised Madonna for her diverse musical productions which have also served as a lightning rod for religious controversy.
Born in Bay City, Michigan, she moved to New York City in 1977 to pursue a career in modern dance. After performing in the music groups Breakfast Club and Emmy, she released her debut album in 1983. She followed it with a series of albums that attained immense popularity by pushing the boundaries of lyrical content in mainstream popular music and imagery in her music videos, which became a fixture on MTV. Ace of Base is a pop band based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Its original lineup consisted of Ulf “Buddha” Ekberg, and three siblings, Jonas “Joker” Berggren, Malin “Linn” Berggren and Jenny Berggren. Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born 5 May 1988), better known simply as Adele, is an English recording artist and songwriter. Adele was offered a recording contract from XL Recordings after a friend posted her demo on MySpace in 2006. The next year she received the Brit Awards “Critics’ Choice” and won the BBC Sound of 2008. Her debut album, 19, was released in 2008 to much commercial and critical success. Metro TV is Indonesia’s first 24-hour news channel based in West Jakarta. The station was established on November 25, 2000 and now has over 53 transmission sites all over the country. It is owned by Surya Paloh who also owns the Media Indonesia daily. These two, along with other newspapers distributed in different parts of Indonesia, are part of the Media Group, also owned by Paloh.

It is the only TV station to offer Mandarin news and no sinetron (soap opera) programs in Indonesia, although lately the station has also begun to broadcast entertainment programs such as a talk show called “e-Lifestyle”, and the satirical news and current affairs show called “Republik Mimpi” (The Dream Republic).

TV One is an Indonesian privately owned national television station based in East Jakarta. It is used to be known as Lativi which ends with name changed due to changes of ownership in the middle of February 2008.

As Lativi. As booming of national tv on 2000′s Lativi is one of 5 new national tv networks who got a license to broadcast nationwide in Indonesia. It’s initially owned by previously Minister of labor and also famous entrepreneur, Abdul Latief. The segment of the network are seems to be on C-D-E class with some mystery and some semi-pornographic series.

As TVOne. By the year 2007, the ownership of the network are changed to Aburizal Bakrie and Erick Tohir due to debt and poorly manage network.

The launching of TVOne was on the 14th February 2008 at 7.20 PM by the President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. It makes Anindya Bakrie (the son of Aburizal Bakrie ) as the Chief Commissioner and Erick Tohir as the President Director.

TV One is an abbreviation from Olahraga, News, and Entertainment. Olahraga in English means Sport. The network are now more segmented to A and B class with a good combination of sport, news and entertainment.
